C10 engine oil change

I plan on doing my own oil change. Anyone using other than Cat oil and if so what brand and weight, I use Delo 400 in my tractors and Duramax.

I will use Cat filters.

Any help or special things to do, I know to install the filter dry.

Thanks in advance

My Army experience in a motor pool with heavy engineer equipment has me a firm believer in Delo 15-40 (Delo 400) oil. We used it in all Caterpillar, Cummins and GM diesel engines and never had any oil-related breakdowns or even issues.
It is a great oil for most car & trucks. I still use it in my 2002 Honda CRV since it was new.
I'm sure someone will dispute my claim, but we used that oil in the motor pool for over 20 years. You won't be disappointed!
