Canvas awnings

We have a 2006 country coach allure, we have canvas awnings, can anyone tell me what to use to clean and condition them. We have never done anything to them and they are looking bad. Also are we suppose to put anything on the rubber that is around the slides?

They are Sunbrella fabric (acrylic) so anything you can safely use to clean Sunbrella is fine. Do not use harsh cleaners and avoid bleach. 303 makes a spray on treatment for Sunbrella fabric that restores it ability to shed water and adds UV protection.

We have a 2007 Allure and decided to replace our slide topper fabric since they were a bit stretched, the stitching on the front edges were failing and they generally look tired. We used a company in Florida called Stone Vos to make new toppers for us. They were able to match our topper color perfectly and the new toppers are double stitched and much nicer than the original. Price was very reasonable. They will make your toppers and ship them to you and you install them yourself or have someone do it.

As far as your rubber slide seals, clean them and some folks apply talc or dry silicone spray. Don't put anything on them that will be oily or attract dirt.
