Carefree Awning Motor replacement

FYI
Yesterday I replaced my Carefree Eclipse awning motor.
I removed the motor and took it to O'Reilly Auto.
They were able to cross reference the number on the original
motor to a Cardone 82-127 window lift motor.
This was a very easy project, the replacement motor was an
exact match and it works perfectly.
Through Carefree the motor is $270, the O'Reilly price was $50
BIG SAVINGS!

I assume that this was not a Eclipse XL?

I believe it is the XL version.

Have you tried to procure any other parts and from who? You see the part you list is ot on the sheet I have from Carefree.

It's on the Carefree web sight under replacement parts.
the part number is R001104BLK $270.45.
Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks for the information, will call Carefree again. Last time I called I was told "we don't make that anymore" will be more persistent.

That part (R001104BLK) can be purchased for $175. Search the web.

Interesting. Have you read my post regarding the bent arms that are not replaceable? Will be spending time in Junction City next month.
