Carousel Microwave Removal

I am currently trying to remove my microwave in our 2000 Magna and can't get it out. I have removed the four bolts and screws and still can't get it loose. Is there some kind of glue or silicone holding it? More screws that are not showing below or above the unit??

Thanks in advance,

Steve Wilcomb

On my 2000 Magna there were screws from the cabinet above the microwave and two on the microwave. Those two on the microwave are accessed by removing the filters on the bottom of the microwave and they will be near the front corners. Those two screws very long and go to the top rear of the oven. The oven is also supported by a bracket attached to the wall behind the oven. The oven will sort of hinge down from this bracket and then the oven can be lifted off of the bracket.

I replaced my oven with a Sharp R-1874T. It fits the set up used by the old oven. Here's a link to the installation manuals.

That is how it was in my 2002 Affinity, the we’re actually under the carpet in the cabinet, had to peel back the carpet to find them.

Have not replaced ours but have heard it is a good idea to put some type of shoring under microwave when you get ready to pull it out
They are heavey
