CC Intrigue Dashboard
Our 2008 CC Intrigue has lost its dashboard... The telltale light bar at the bottom of the dash flashes the CC logo about two times a second and that's all... No air pressure, engine temp, battery voltage, ... nothing else shows up on the three round gauges...
Premier RV in Junction City told me that it's all built by a company called Medallion. But they do not return my calls. I am literally 'dead in the water' while this is broken. Has anybody else had any luck getting this resolved? Know of any contacts that can help?
Thanks!
Rick

My Front Run Board has several fuses that deal with dash gauges.
Are all your fuses ok?

YES, At first I thought I had a fuse problem... Checked every fuse in the whole rig... When I figured they were all good I checked connection plugs in the engine area and up front of the drivers side front tire. Everything looks good there. Then I pulled the lower dash unit that has the warning lights in. Thats when I discovered that all the gauges are fed from that. There are a total of four plugs on the back of it and wires come out of them and feed each gauge. Premier RV in Junction city told me that this whole system comes from a company called Medallion. I called Medallion and they told me that they do not repair their products anymore. This just about blew me away... I am hoping somebody somewhere knows somebody that can fix this stuff or replace it.

Silver Leaf, Albany OR might be of assistance. They have worked on most instrumentation inside a CC

Your rig should have some OBDII monitor connections.
Can you tap into that with some software and use your tablet or phone to get the critical information.
I use Blue Driver to check my Jeeps but there has to be better software for live data.

That's a good fall back position. And the mentioned Silver Leaf company has a plug into the coach port that can be displayed on a tablet. (I've seen some mount a tablet on their dash, for seeing the data...) So good advice on giving Silver Leaf a call...
Fingers crossed someone has had a similar experience, and can point you to another repair place...

Could be a loose connection somewhere?
Possibly on power terminal that feeds the dash?
Just a thought

Another thought is to reach out to Brian. He is a wealth of knowledge on the electrical front of all CC's... (And other areas too !. He bought lots of electrical components from the CC Auction - possibly he may have one, or a source for one, or someone who might be willing to take a shot at repairing yours?
Sure does not hurt to ask !

First of all, I want to thank everybody for their interest in helping me. I spent most of the day looking for an OBD2 plug and couldn't find one. I have the original 2008 Dynomax Chassis manual and they don't list one anywhere. I do have a good solid 12VDC going to the unit. CC did a good job of labeling each wire in the plugs.
It looks like I will try to call Medallion one more time. And maybe a wrecking yard or two...

On my ‘08 Allure the fuse for the power shades for the windshield also powers the dash cluster!
And it’s only labeled for “power shades”
Anyway the wire had loosened from the fuse block. Fuse was in the electrical bay under the driver seat.
I have a thread on it here on the CC owners forum but hard to search on the phone right now.
IDK if the intrigue is wired similar.
Also the dash was inop I used the silverleaf to monitor the engine and speed.

I third this and will add..The OBD2 ports for these vehicles do not look like your standard car OBD port. On my coach they are round, located in the fuel filter/oil reservoir bay and another one behind the drivers seat and I believe a 3rd under the dashboard.
The Silverleaf website has pics of the 2 different types used in OTR trucks/Coaches.
IF you have a Windows based tablet or PC you can download load SilverleafPC for free.
Silverleaf sells an OBD2 wireless kit which in conjunction with SilverleafPC will allow you to monitor everything on your coach. Incl tire pressures.
Lastly you might also take a look at thier VMS dashboard unit as a replacement if your system will run it.
Good luck
Ch

There is always the junk yard. Most coaches burn in the back so the dash components are ok

Hah! I've got to stop reading these boards... As I think I got a virus on our Medallion Gauges now too !
Went to pick up the coach after some work, and when I started the engine, the Tach did not move reflecting RPM's. Turned off the engine, and restarted - and Tach worked. (And worked each time I've turned it off/on since then.). Went to splash 50 gallons of Fuel in the tank, enough to get from Colton to San Diego, and then over to Yuma, where fuel is not $6.49 ! Looked at the odometer to get the mileage, and it was reflecting 12xx vs 53,xxx that it really should have shown. SilverLeaf is still showing this years mileage Trip accurately, and the overall 53,xxx too. So the ECM to SilverLeaf are good.
Damon Rapozo suggests I find the Medallion control brain, and check the wiring going in/out connections...
But made me chuckle, as just reading this thread - has yielded me a virus!!! Need to get an N95 mask for the front of our coach, to protect it... !
Another opportunity for learning, and possibly - helping the economy!!!
Best to all,
Smitty
