Chair motor

Motor in passenger chair (forward/back) doesn’t work, just growls. Anyone replace one and know whee to get parts. 07 Tribute

Either contact the company that made the chair or take the motor out. It might have identifying name or numbers on it, take it to an auto parts store and see if they can either match it or suggest a source.

Villa International made the seats in my 08 Affinity. They are in Cerritos, CA. *(562) 404-8111‬
Does the motor just make a clicking sound? Mine got bound up, took it apart and released the pressure. The worm drive got bound up. You won’t find these motors at any auto parts store, they are very specialized.

there is a drive gear and a drive cable if it growls it is usually the drive cable has rounded off inside the gear.
they are really simple to fix once you get them appart
If it makes no noise it is motor or electric, noise means gear or drive
