Cord reel - added remote control

In our ‘03 32’ Allure, we have the Glendinning cord reel. I wanted a remote control to make it even easier to take the cord out/in.

I bought the switch with remote on Amazon (below). It’s an easy install and works great. I just moved the four wires from the existing Glendinning switch to the new switches and moved a board-mounted jumper to set the remote to operate in momentary mode.

Lejin Universal 12V DC Motor Control Radio Remote Control High Performance 30A Range 200M Linear Actuators Linear Motor Forward and Reverse Radio Remote Control PUMP Winch Door Control Shutters Curta https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077JHCR87..._ON3HFb9MTTWAE

This switch was $40 vs about $340 for the Glendinning remote switch

Now you can do like a friend does. Hide the remote and say "cord reel in (or out)" as the case may be and press the correct button!
My '09 Magna came with the remote, I've never felt the need to use it, same with my awnings. I do use the ones for my window awnings. That way I can get them down low but above my head height. They hurt when you walk into them!
