Country Coach dealer question
Anyone have experience purchasing a used Country Coach from a dealer in Oregon where CC were manufactured? Looking to trade up my 99 Magna.

Country Coach
No first hand experience however heard great coaches at Kenai (now owned by OMC, Matt and elaina, but Terry is still there) and Premier - to name the two that I know of in Oregon.
Brian
Edit - spelling. Sheesh.

The inventory is probably at historical low. It might be better wait until the fad is over when more choices are available.
OR dealer transactions appeared positive. Premier, Kenai (now part of OMC) are among those that most buyers go to - no personal experience but read from this and other sites.
Oops, Brian beat me on this...:-)

We bought our rig 20 years ago this month from Guarantee RV.
It was a good transaction.

I have traded at Premier, with Louie and Doug. Plus have had good service in the shop. Not cheap, I think about $130 per hour shop rate, but that is about the going rate. Most of the personnel are prior Country Coach employees. Call first for reservations as they are busy.

Terry at Keani Coach, now part of OMC is a great guy to work with. He goes thru the coach repairing what ever need fixed, even doing some upgrades before he puts it on the market

We bought our 2002 Affinity from Premier in Junction City and had great sales and service support. We're now out of RV'ing but I believe Premier is still going strong.

I agree with the input to maybe stretch out the time a bit, and see what the new 'norm' will be in new/used RV sales... That being said, if you are serious and want to start, then I'd recommend you start a relationship with Premier. (No knock to Terry at old Kenai, or OMC the new owner. Have never bought a coach from Terry, so no first had experience. Be interesting to see how the OMC and Kenai marriage works out !)
I have bought a coach, and have had multiple years of service, at Premier RV Services. Both Louie and Damon are good people to work with, and on the PDI side, Gary is fair and reasonable to work with.
I'd call and make contact with either Louie or Damon, go over what you are looking for, and ask to be on their short list as coaches become available.
I've heard this from a longtime RV Sales Veteran over 12 years ago, and sincerely believe it to be true. The best coaches, are never even advertised! Louie and Damon (Premier) build relationships with their customers. And many of those customers reach out to them again, when ready to make a move out of their existing coaches. Very common for this to be month in advance. So they know of coaches that are on the radar, many that have been maintained over the years by Premier (So they have a good history!)... And the also have short lists of Buyer's on the hunt for specific coaches. They will reach out and give those Buyer's a heads up...
Good luck on your decision, and happy hunting,
Smitty
Note: My 07 Magna was bought from Premier, and they also facilitated the sale of our 04 Allure. Positive results on both fronts!

We bought our 2004 Magna 630 from Terry at Kenai Coach almost a year ago and were really happy with the experience. He and his wife are good people as are the folks at OMC.

Ok, I have never returned the rig or needed to contact the Dealer in the past 20 years, so I was not aware there was a change.
