Country Coach Model Lineup
Looking through the model years 2002 - 2006, I'm trying to familiarize myself with the Country Coach models. I can't figure out what the model lineup is.
I'd like to know the top model, and the next to it, and so on.
I'm also curious. What's the major difference as you go down through the models? Quality of cabinetry, or difference in chassis, or both?
Thanks
Jim

1Affinity
2magna
3intrigue
4allure
5inspire
tribute and lexa were also thrown in. The top three were built about the same with minor upgrades to each line. Affinity had different windows and allowed more custom color and fabric selection. The magna had awnings above roof for more concealment. The intrigue had bay doors that open sideways. If you check damon rapozos site he has some history that will help. Do you know the features your looking for.

They are all well made coaches and you probably would have a hard time going wrong with a well maintained coach in those years. Part of the evaluation would have to be the length of the coach and if it had a tag axle or not. Their cabinetry, design and chassis are all top of the line.
I think the main difference would be how the various designs fit your needs and wants. If you stick with an Intrigue and Allure > 36' you will do well. If you're looking for more detailed ratings you might go to rv.org and pay what they're asking. It will be some of the best dollars you spend on your coach. Note read all their material.
Good Luck and happy hunting

Over the years did they from year to year come out with "special editions" and give the edition a name and the just add the edition name to the base name model?

So, I understand that the Magna model is a semi-monocoque coach, in which the chassis and house frame are a one piece welded steel construction. Is this true of all the other models? Or does aluminum house framing enter into the picture in some models?
As you can tell by my signature, I currently own a Monaco Dynasty. I am very well versed in the differences between the Monaco models. But, I can't figure out the differences between the Country Coach models.
I would like to hope that there will be a 'next coach' for us down the road. If so, I would look to Monaco's top of the line, a Signature, or down one model to an Executive, or down one more model to what we have now, a Dynasty. What's the direct equivalent to these models in Country Coach?
Jim

There are very few differences between the Affinity and Magna. Just some minor appointment changes from what I have heard. Yes, the Magna and Affinity are semi-monoque construction. I am unsure about the other models.
If CC starts making coaches again next year as they are trying to do, they say the Magna will be the first coach for 2014. The estimated price is $800 to $900K. This is in the same price point range as the Newmar King Aire. I am unsure how the Monaco models compare with these models to show a direct equivalent.
In 2006 my Magna sold for an MSRP of $671K. (I did not pay nearly that when I purchased it earlier this year, way above my pay grade, LOL) I also do not know for sure what this equivalent would have been in a Monaco model.
I hope this gives you some starting points in your answers.

The RV Consumer Group offers snapshots of the different models and years in their information. I used their information a lot when I was looking at motor homes 4 years ago. They were likely the catalyst for me to look at Country Coaches, but the driving experience and over all high level of quality is what sold me.
Our Affinity has the semi-monocoque chassis. I don't know about other models.

No answers as of yet to the different years and the names and titles Country Coach gave them along with my thoughts on sub-names for that years production models? (special edition names and a lot of different ones)

I do not know that there is a "direct equivalent" between the two manufacturers.
My opinion is:
Affinity @ Signature
Magna @ Executive
Intrigue @ Dynasty
Inspire @ Diplomat/Camelot
Tribute

Oh. OK. Was that an issue with the Country Coaches?
Are you talking about fiberglass crazing, or delamination?
