Country Coach Muffler Source

I went through all the country coach posts doing research for a possible motor home purchase and noticed that there were a few posts asking about mufflers. I found this one specifically for Country Coach. It's for those coaches where the exhaust pipe goes through the side of the body.

The muffler itself is a bit cheaper on Amazon... at $81.

Some coaches have 5 inch exhaust and others 4 inch so check that size first.

I recently replaced the muffler on my 2000 Intrigue with OEM Donaldson muffler part #120566 (Nelson equivalent is #86542M, I ordered mine on Ebay. Muffler body clamp is part # 89551K.

I wouldent even be worried about a muffler. Mine is still original at 18 years old. If you looked at the CC threads you would see that in post 6 here http://www.irv2.com/forums/f112/need...re-245333.html I posted were you can get it for $109.00. I would be more worried about the tires, batteries, pto, transmission, delam, radiator making sure the a/c works and the engine. To worry about a muffler to me is a non issue.

For the OP, the info I posted is for a a muffler like the original equipment, costs around $250
On eBay. The $100 muffler is basically a straight through pipe.
