Covered Storage....finally

We returned to Richmond, VA from our 3 month, 7,000 mile trip. Parked coach at local RV park for 2 days to get it emptied out, cleaned, winterized and ready for storage.

Took it today to my recently rented covered storage unit. Tight fit, but it fits. Now need to fashion a way to secure the 100 watt solar panel to the ladder to maintain the batteries (no electric at the sites at this new facility....yet). Rear of coach faces south so hoping my solar solution will work.

I love it!

I would put one of those on the side of my house, if the city would allow it!

Snug fit. But for winter storage snug doesn't really matter. How wide is it?

A solar panel pole mount would be a way to go to affix a panel to the rear ladder. Do suggest to put a good quality PV controller with it to provide for good battery care.

I did not put a ruler to it but I am thinking about 10 - 11' wide.

I do have a good 30 amp PWM controller from Go Power. Tell me more about the pole mount for the panel. I was going to fashion some sort of bracket but if there is something already available that will work and not be permanent, I would be interested.

Here's a couple links from a quick Google of 'solar side pole mount'.

You'll love the RV port, Gary. We built one in 2010 - best $$ we spent as far as protecting the coach.
