Dehumidifier

I do not run a dehumidifier in the coach when in storage, indoor storage, not climate controlled. I do crack all the windows to it "breathes". I have done this with a truck camper, a 5th wheel and now with our coach. I do drive the coach every 3-4 weeks.

I have read about RV dehumidifiers and get the concept. What do you do and/or what would you suggest?

Depends on where you live/humidity and how sensitive you are to mold/mildew.


100% of the time in both our sailboats and RV's we have a small house-type dehumidifier (30 pint) set on 50% humidity. Drain into the sink/gray tank or sitting in the shower draining into the gray tank.


Never a musty smell ever in any of them.

Agree with Brett about your location can make a difference on what you need.

That being said, we use a few of these while in moist areas, to help with moisture. No water dumping concerns, and or filling your Grey tank. So if you don't need too much assistance from moistures, these are an option!
