responsford, thanks for your questions.
My actuator is electrical/mechanical.
The step well is 24" long.
The slide cover is about 30" or maybe 36".
I cannot see or touch the back wall of the slide platform from below the platform when it is extended due to a 4" (?) box frame that is constructed at the back edge at the platform and lack of room to reach it. The boxing frame is similar to one constructed at the leading edge of the platform.
There are no stops on the slide rails. Just the entry door frame at the end of the slide path. The sliding platform is wider than the entry door.
The slider stops due to limit switches inside the actuator shaft housing in the driver side front basement compartment.
It appears I will have extend the nose mounted generator slide. Then lay on top of the generator.......if I can. Then remove the ceiling insulation in the generator tunnel to try to find the back wall of the platform and the actuator attachment point.
