I am Bill Claypool; we have a 2004 Country Coach Intrigue 42'.
We (Judy & I) live in our coach full time and also run an internet business from it.
We have "Private Motorhome Rental" and help people rent out their motorhomes when they are not using them.
At the present time we have several Country Coach units in our fleet throughout the United States.

We are most-timers (3 wks/month) in an '06 Allure 40' rig.
When working on the road we do custom software development and business consulting but mostly just enjoy travelling.

Purchased a 1997 Intrigue in Jan 2007. We use our coach to travel to dog shows. We put 12,000 miles on it this summer and loved it! Sad times now as the baby is winterized and tucked in the barn for winter in Minnesota.

Considered buying a CC but the factory is too far and my confidence in CC is very low. They are good looking MH's, just heard too many bad stories over the years. I went with Newmar since the factory is only 1/2 day drive away and dealers tend to know what they are doing. I hope that I can be proven wrong some day. I would love to own a CC.

Jerry, I can relate to that, when I lived in Michigan I was just 100 miles from the Newmar pant. CC Coach is long way from Florida now. I'll let you know in a few years if living a long way from the plant is a problem.

I am interested in CC and have a friend who has purchased one recently. He had a Winnebago before and traded up to a CC. What are your stories, what coach did you have before and why did you want a CC. What did you like most about your coach and what problems did you encounter. I would like to find a used Allure or Intrigue and move up from the Itasca Horizon. I am a member of the Winnebago forum and as you can see a lot folks have them and have been posting for a long time. Good luck with the new forum , I will be lurking. Oh-one out.

I started in a small 5th wheel, primarily for my annual pilgramage back to my home, along with the significant other and the pride of cats. It was adequate, but sure a pain to level. So when I saw the CC, with its automatic leveling, 2 bathroom sinks, and NO PARTICLE BOARD, I was hooked. So far, so good.

We moved from a Beaver to Country Coach Intrigue. Find the CC to be much more comfortable and the floor plan better fits our needs. We have added a Euro lounger for DH to enjoy while watching TV.

I am pleased to find this forum where information can be learned and shared specifically to Country Coach owners. This is a broad spectrum of owners and interests, as the coaches have certainly changed since my 98 was a new one. The test is wheather your 9 year old coach still pleases you, and mine does.
There are some internal issues now at the CC factory that concern me somewhat, with the softening of the rv industry, but they have gone through rough patches before and emerged the better for it.
I look forward to reading your posts in the future

My dad has a 99 40' Magna. He is talking about selling it in the near future and downsizing. I was hoping he would will it to me! Oh well.
