Door Latch Adjustment

We have a 2002 Intrigue 36' and are having problems with the door lock being hard to lock with the key or with the manual lever inside. I'm wide open to suggestions as to best place to take it to. A body shop that does work on coaches, an RV shop to adjust it, or a locksmith.
Thanks

Not sure if you have the same latch as my 2000 allure. I took mine apart the other day (remove the 2 screws from the inside, unscrew the push door lock) I lubed everything up and mine is much better. I even sprayed the key and ran it back and forth in the lock, which seemed to help the key operation.

My door is one of the biggest let down ( there are so few problems) on the coach. Adjustment is not friendly at all. Depends on what is causing the problem as to what you need to do. If the striker plate is binding on the deadbolt and causing the stiffness you have to figure out why it is binding in order to fix the cause. I had to file away a small portion on the striker plate to get the lock to work better. There just doesn't seem to be any adjustment available to the door and limited to the lock/ striker assembly.
