Door stop 2004 CC Inspire

Any one know where I can get one of these for a replacement? Dummy left the door open on a windy day and snapped it right off. It’s the catch that keeps the door from swinging more than 90° when opened. The door portion is retracted back into the door to allow it to operate until repaired.
2004 CC Inspire 40’ DP.

Help appreciated.

The proper name for what you're looking for is a "door check". Amazon has a lot of them but not exactly like yours.

There may be a part number on the body of the door check mechanism.

You’ll need to take door panel off and you should be able to remove broken door check body.

My 2007 Allure was a GM 02-05 trail blazer right front, 15196108.

I doubt that the door check anchor plate on the door jam will come with the door check. The door check itself may not need replacing. The brass(?) anchor plate broke and that might be a factory item.

Door check fittings

All,

?? Did I not read awhile ago on this / another forum that Kevin Waite has 're-designed' door check straps / anchor plates

Certainly IMHO worth an enquiry to explore
