Has anyone done this? Recommendation on the remote? How many amps should it carry? Any particular brand or part number you can share?

Mine didn't come with the remote controller either. I bought mine from Glendinning and installed it my self. I did a quick search on their website but didn't see the remote. I would call them and see what they say.
I wired it into the light circuit in the plumbing bay as it doesn't take a lot of power. It is wired into the switch so that I can still use that if need be.
I agree that having the switch in the plumbing bay is stupid.
I will be at the coach tomorrow and will look on the unit and see if there is a name that can be googled.
On edit, I found it. I sure didn't pay this much for it but then again I got it a number of years ago. I think it can be had cheaper.
