Sure beats wrestling with a long 50 AMP cable though.

On ours I can just grab the wireless remote control so my hands never get near the cable.

I installed the remote on mine. It does get a few comments in a campground when either I say "Out", "In" , or "a little more" while holding the fob out of site.

If you want to have fun, add the water hose reel from Glendinning and do the same thing with both the hose and the power cable, may the force be with you!

If you have enough twists and turns in a short distance like mine it will require a one or two finger assist no matter how the tension is adjusted

If you have the remote from Glendinning, it has a second channel so you can operate the water reel too. I've got the extra parts for the water reel but have been to busy to install them

Yep, Glendinning remote. Too much other stuff with the DW's health (and maybe mine) to worry much about the MH right now!

My bucket & works is hidden behind a square box that takes up the lower half of the DS of my end-cap closet. It's covered with carpet. Nobody bit on my request for help in getting that carpet off. Is my 38' Allure unique in having its Cablemaster installed/hidden in this way?

Nope, ours is that way but there's a removable panel to get to the unit.

Mine is the same way. While I have not yet removed that box (I plan to sometime this summer to inspect the mechanism), it is my understanding from a trusted CC expert (Kevin Waite) that there are screws hidden in the carpet that will let you remove it. Suggest you start poking around the edges of the box and see if you can find them.

I worked on a 08 intrigue yesterday and the cord would not pull the last 6 ft.I removed the box that was held by three square head screws on the top about 3/4 inch from the back wall. Didn't remove carpet. What I found was the pull roller had three rollers that held the cord into the reel with spring tension. The whole assembly was loose. I tightened the yellow adjusting nut that added spring pressure to the rollers and it worked fine.
A couple of thoughts.
I didn't see ant lock nut so the adjustment knob is only kept in place by spring pressure so it likely just vibrated loose.
The other thing was coming in from the outside the cord went into a 4inch 90 and straight up to the reel and then was placed in a horizontal tub.
No push from the outside would do any help with this design .
The picture is looking down.

Hi Don
Yes it was Freds. He was heading to Spokane and the cord would not go all the way in. I called Bob Vincent for some pointers then opened it up. I took pictures for my future reference.
