camera type

Backup Camera System with 9’’ Large Monitor and DVR for RV semi Box Truck Trailer Rear and Side View Quad HD Camera 4 Split Screens Advanced Record Function IP69 Waterproof Avoid Blind spot eRapta A9

this is camera i purchased off amazon. 4 cameras and all record. i added one to each side and put one on dash for drive cam. I really don't use side cameras when driving like i thought i would. Took out flip screen radio in dash and taped new monitor in its place. i added radio and mounted in cabinet overhead, it has blue tooth for pandora which is usually what i listen too,

I was mistaken, it was Rear View Safety who talked me through the wire re-connect. I recall, dimly, that 5 wires were involved as one was for the mike and speaker.

Very good company, IMO, and they have many commercial customers.

I have a question on the new camera lens you people used. Did you cut the "old" lens out of the mount or install a new mount with camera lens already installed? I prefer to use the old mount or cut the old one out and install a new one that will cover the resulting hole. Does anybody have a manufacturer/part number of a camera lens and mount that will fit.

Thx

It is my understanding that on mine, they simply removed the old original camera from it's mount and replaced it with the new camera. They did tell me that they had to polish the little "window" that the camera looks through in the rear cap so the view was clear, but that was all. No additional holes were added to the outside of my coach for the rear facing camera.

Sorry, I don't know what camera model they used.

I used mount that comes with cameras mentioned in earlier post. I used PC 11 marine epoxy to mount, that way I cover the old hole and stop any water penetration.
