The expansion valve is for dash A/C and isn't connected with your Cummins engine. You need to find what make of A/C is on your coach and then you can replace the expansion valve. Most A/C service shops should be able to replace A/C parts and then recharge.

Tom, sorry I haven't replyed to you sooner. I know the dash air is not a Cummins part. I' m just having trouble finding the correct exp. valve. The OEM for the ac is no longer in business. Just thought another 350HP owner might know where to find. Thanks for the just the same. Don

Check at this shop in Texas. They stock all A/C parts for autos and RV's. Speak to Richard when you call. He will be glad to help you.

A/C Compressor and A C Compressor from AC Parts

I searched all over for an A/C compressor and dryer for my coach. I sent him a couple of photos and he matched them up and sent me the new parts. Had them installed in Louisiana while there having a new fridge installed.

My A/C has never worked this well since owning it.

Don,
I do all my own auto and RV maintenance and have changed out a thermal expansion valve on my dash AC system on my 2001 Monaco Dynasty with a Cummins ISC 350 engine about 2 years ago. As prior posts mention, the AC system has no connection to the Cummins engine set-up.

The thermal expansion valve that was originally installed in my RV was a Parker 134 #134-112. The matching replacement that I installed was a Murray #38872 which had an inlet fitting size #6 (5/8" OD) male and outlet fitting to the evaporator being #8 (3/4" OD) male fittings and an equalizer tube female swivel (3/8-16) fitting. Another alternate to the Murray expansion valve is a Red Dot 71R8100.

Hope this helps, and happy RV'g.

Jack
