Also, CC uses the Southco latches to keep the doors closed on the residential fridges. They work very well until the spring gets weak. Mine are mounted at the bottom of the doors. I had to replace one recently and we've never had the doors come open while underway. Anyone who sells RV parts/supplies usually have them in their hardware section. Look on your wardrobe closet doors and you will see the same latch.

Those latches are what we have on the Jenn Air but they certainly don't work!

We have the same coach, have had ours for two years now and are very happy with it...Change your fluids and filters regularly.. Biggest improvement we made was to replace the lousy Koni shocks on the front with Road Kings, what a difference in ride, well worth it...

Wow, I have to say everyone has put forth some great ideas and input !! I appreciate everyone's help ! We are about a week out on a small test trip before we take a real adventure , hoping I have all the bugs worked out the PTO is wet system 2 lines off a T at the Trans was glad to see that , thinking the previous owner did things right !!

I sent Road King an inquiry, they called but I was out and they didn't leave a message. Guess I'll have to try again.

Not necessarily! I just had all of my some 12+ windows on my Affinity defogged by Suncoast Designers in Hudson, FL, for a little over $5K. Yes, the frameless windows cost a bit more to repair and, I might add, not every window repair outfit can repair them, but they don't have to break one to fix them.

If you don't mind me asking ...you did just the fronts ? What did the Road Kings run you ?

This is what I found out
The price for the shocks would be $375.00 each plus freight.

I did 3 inch road kings on front for $450 each and the drive and tag were $375 each with free shipping. One note was the drive shock came with 2 1/4 inch width so they could not be installed. I am currently waiting for new bushings.

Yikes that's like $3000- $3500 installed , I hear the drive is worth every penny , my couch seems a little soft in the front so I thought I would do some checking into it .

Seems like your year was the first one with flush mounted dual pane windows. I ran into a guy last year that had the same coach /year as yours and he had to replace his windows as they leaked. Meaning the vacuum seal leaked.

Our '09 Magna has the regular windows, not the flush mount ones and frankly I didn't want the flush mount due to lack of area when open. They just don't allow much air to flow.

The flush mount windows and flimsy Girard awnings are two reasons I would likely not consider any of the newer coaches from any manufacturer. I have recently been considering selling the Allure and getting either a new Mountain Aire or maybe an Entegra Anthem. However, DW helped me realize neither would be as nice or better than what we have. I realize the manufacturers are using the flush windows and Girard awnings to make the coaches more 'sleek,' but we just don't like them.

The Lexa, Affinity and Rhapsody are the only Country Coaches with the flush windows, so you can still get a Magana if you wanted to upgrade!
