I like the way you think Dean going to leave room for libations
At this time we have Good Sam as that is who we ended up insuring through so purchased their plan as well

Hey Bill,
Finally read that thread and did some research and found that in 2003 Cummins went to the Enhanced High Pressure Common Rail fuel system (HPCR)...Next to read up on the FASS upgrade.
Thanks again,
Greg

Only mentioned this because Smitty (member here) has a 2004 Allure with a ISL and CAPS motor. He's the one of the original Fass pump upgrade experts. You can call Cummins with your serial number and they can check.

Need to get down to specifics on this. Best way is to get your engine SN off of the sheet on the inside of the vanity door, and either call Cummins, or join them and logon to their system. Get the specific build for your engine.
For example, we have a 2004 Allure model, 31017, built in Sept 2003, with Cummins ISL built in July of 2003. Our ISL, is CAPS era... Probably missed the cut over to the HPCR engine by a few hundred engines, according to Cummins. And note, another benefit of the HPCR era ISL's, is they also have Variable Geometry Turbo's (VGT). These spool faster, and pump out more boost. The HP and Torque curves between a CAPS and HPCR/VGT show the later engines have a sweeter power band, and HP/Torque start kicking in at a bit lower RPM. End result is the same 'max' HP and Torque - but more useable. And the later engines, are a bit easier to fool around with aftermarket power enhancers.
Best to you, and enjoy the coach!!
Smitty

Pick up a water hose and a pressure regulator . I made the rookie mistake of no regulator and paid dearly for the mistake.

Hey Smitty,
Joined the Cummins power club but did not see where to request a build sheet. Did download the QuickServe app and the data plate shows build date 16 Jan 2004 also gives some other info such as Engine configuration number D563003BX03
