That's a lot closer to me than Coburg since I live in Vancouver.

2006 Affinity fogged windows replace or repair?

I would like to fix window fogging on 4 windows. A vendor in OR is quoting $3,800 and claim they need to build new windows— The Affinity windows can not be repaired. Has anyone found another Affinity-compatible solution? Thanks!

Sayer, I am in Indio, CA and watching a couple glass firms run around fixing fogged windows on Magna's and Affinitys. The one company was Auto Glass Boss out of Phoenix that had a road service truck in park. I had them look at two of mine and they are going to stop by next week and fix them.

I have been reading this post and boy am I glad I did. I have an Affinity 770 and I need to have al of mine redone or replaced. My problem is I am in Eastern Missouri and so for no one in the area do this. I wouldn’t mind spending the bucks if I can get it done correctly. I think the $5000.00 that was mentioned earlier post doesn’t sound to bad for all of the windows. The coach company I purchased my Affinity from had someone in the Phoenix area fix one of my windows and I think it mat be one of the companies mentioned in the post Auto Glass Boss. I plan to try them or one of the companies that can replace it with new glass when I get back out to AZ. Anyone know of a company closer to the St. Louis, MO area?

Auto Glass Boss removed and fixed all 24 of our foggy windows in one day last week. Unbelievable that 2 guys were able to accomplish this task which involves removing all the interior valances. Their rate is $120 per window.

Sun Coast Designer window repair

Just got back from Hudson Florida and getting my last 3 windows repaired. With the $25 discount (by stopping by at the Tampa Supershow) the cost per window unit (2 insulated glass panes) was only $225. The service was excellent and fast at 2 days. Free electric while you're there too. The really kicker was that they now have a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your MH, even on the windows that were previously repaired by Sun Coast!

Interesting! I will probably still try them out for one sliding window. I replaced a whole window myself last month, just the shipping from Tiffin was $175. AGB says they will come to me and charge $120.
From what I can tell no one puts an inert gas back into the repaired windows. My thought is they must get foggy again.
It would be very interesting to hear how long others have been fog free after having it done at any shop. -Bill

Foggy Window Blues

Most I believe use a moisture absorbing gasket type material that helps wick any moisture out. My drivers side window will get a patch of moisture in it now and then and in a few hours disappears. I’m sure one day it won’t?
