Freightliner Chassis shop?
Has anyone trusted a freightliner chassis shop to repair a leaky wheel seal and hydraulic hoses? I find my coach stuck in Las Vegas and too much fluid coming out of the rear driver side wheel. The hydraulic leak, looks like a hose to a radiator fan, may last until I drive home to Oregon, but not sure about the wheel.

Almost any large chain truck stop - T/A will be able to fix the axle seal leak, they do it all the time on big trucks and the seals will probably be in stock and 1/2 the $ of what Freightliner will charge.

If ya can't fix it yourself ya got to make a decision and choose. Better you driving into the shop then on the back of a tow truck.

is yours a country coach? if so, it's not frightliner chassis i would guess, but either gilig (prior to 1998) or dynomax.

Thanks everyone! Ended up using a former Country Coach Tech in the L.A. Area. Simple job with a mobile repair truck.

Who did you use? A lot of X CC techs rotate between Oregon and the desert area but I thought it would be a little warm for them to be around this time of year.

I would really like to know. I know a lot of X CC techs but don't remember any "Tony". I do the LA/desert area and it would be nice to have another source.

Freightliner Chassis shop?
Will get back to everyone soon with contact info. He was referred to me through our leasing agent. He worked at CC, Monaco, and others over the years. Works out of Beaumont, CA. Stay tuned.
