Front Door Seal - wind noise

I have a ‘99 Affinity and I’m getting a lot of wind noise from the upper right side of the entry door when driving. I replaced the foam seal which helped at first but the door was hard to close and after awhile I could see the perimeter flange was bending (small stress cracks in the paint). The way the screen door hinges are integrated into the door hinge complicates the sealing. Can anyone share how their door is sealed? Pictures would be appreciated!

Is "the upper right side when driving" the rear doorway frame?

If not, then the below might help.

We have had the wind noise from the upper front door angled frame.

I have placed a 2x4's end against the middle of door edge and used a small sledge to move the upper door more to the front of the frame. That solved our noise problem. I have done this at least 3 times during our 19 year saga.

The affinity and magna odd upper door style causes the hinges to sag toward the rear of the rig.

Dean, I will try this. If you have time to take a picture of your seal, please post or send to me at buckleyracing@att.net
Thanks, Jim

Dean, I would be most interested if you could describe exactly where you placed the 2x4 on the door before you sledged it. I'm having that sagging and would love to correct it.

Reseating front door.

I have placed a 2x4's end against the middle of door edge and used a small sledge to move the upper door more to the front of the frame.

This would be just below the door's latch on my rig or as close as possible to the same height as the top door hinge.

I close the door as much as practical, then tap the short 2x4 a couple of times and check the result.

I do not think this tactic is in the CC Manual........

Thanks for sending this. I’m going to have to go look at another coach as mine looks different. I think my door and screen door were redone at some time. The hinges are riveted to the door jamb instead of bolted. Not sure why they did this. I tried the 2x4 method and it won’t budge. It is noticeably sagging to the rear though it closes fine.
