Frustration setting in!!!
Ive been winterizing our 2000 intrigue I have searched websites, forums, and torn my unit apart. even stooped as low as to look at owners manual lol. I can NOT find the water filter! Ive taken all the panels in water bay off , even the spade valve cover , reached up to the fresh water inlet line traced it forward, taken cover off in forward compartment that exposes HWH lines. removed carpeted tunnel cover atop that compartment exposing LP lined and water line going to kitchen!!! I can't find it! I did locate in the access panel with pump, regulator and low water drains a line with a plastic shut off valve.
Is it possible that someone on the last 20 years removed it? (obviously so) but can I get a picture from someone showing this frustrated old guy where it it supposed to be?

The only water filter my coach has is the after market one that is under the sink.

My intrigue is a 1999, but it's worth a look to see if the filter is in the same location.
My water filter is located in the bay next to the wet bay. On the rearward side wall of that bay, there is a white access panel about 18" toward the center of the motorhome from the bay opening. The panel is about 8" wide and 12" tall. It is held in place by 6 or 8 screws.

I found a picture of the bay. The access panel is on the right, with the white hooks.

In our our intrigue had the same issue found ours in cabinet that was screwed shut next to the shower by the kitchen slide. There was a drawer above it and you might be able to remove the drawer and peak in. The toilet accumulator for.the toilet is there too
Also toilet accumulator needs to be drained for winterizing
Let us know,
Greg

My coach has a whole-house filter (ten inches tall, as I recall) behind the access panel that Sherpa Vern shows in his post #5 picture. The filter is front and center and can't be missed.
