fyi - remember to lube chassis

it had come to my attention that somewhere in my suspension had been dry, causing rubbing between metals when driving on the road. I did lubing yesterday, the result was instant. If you have not done it for years, you might want to do it, or have somebody do it. there are 8 zerks on tie-rod ends/linkages and knuckles. use ngli 2 lithium based grease. don't over charge as it could damage grease seals otherwise.

thought just to share...

There are a couple of zerks that appear to lube parts of the Neway suspension. You do not want to lube these as it will rupture the seal and your front axle will then leak.

good point don. that was on the knuckles. two zerks on each. supposedly it was filled by the manufacturer, overtime it could get dry up; particularly if it is wet over there, it needs to be regreased. use cautions while doing it.

Are there special instructions about chassis lube in the documentation that came with the coach? I recently had my chassis serviced at a local Cummins CoachCare center and have discovered they forll Cgot to do the chassis lube. All the zerks were untouched. I am taking it back next week to have that done and would want to make sure they do it right. They do a lot of Spartan chassis but seemed a little perplexed with the Dynomax. For example, they had to caC to find out what air dryer cartridge to use and what rear diff. lube was recommended.
