gauge cluster lights

Marker lights go through smartwheel. It has the “marker flash”.

There is a relay in the front run bay that controls 12V power triggered by smartwheel. Check relay operation.

As well marker/head lights will turn on with wipers until next key off.

Confirm switch interrupts power to smartwheel controller for marker. Measure downstream on switch. Wire 11 from switch to controller through relay on my 2007 Allure. Cc was standard on wiring; yours should be similar. CH17 is marker power supply to switch (CH17 is chassis fuse block, slot 17).

EDIT forgot to add dimmer info. Wire 150 sends variable power to dash lights from dimmer knob. Dimmer knob may be shorted? I think it gets power from marker wire 11.

Hope this helps.
Brian

If I am reading this correctly, it sounds like your dash lights are on all the time? Do you have a couple of knobs on the dash that are rheostats? I have a couple that will dim or brighten the dash lights. Maybe one of then got accidentally turned on.
