I purchased the Haldex valve kit KN27000, it has the valve and the linkage. I got it from finditparts.com and it came straight from Haldex.

So Mr. Dave did the valve replacement get rid of the "Howl"? We are currently in Priest River, ID and our coach has been running like a new one as fr as the ride goes. That replacement valve did the trick.

DHETRICK2,
Sorry I am so long passing along my thanks for your information! I have been on the Michigan Upper Peninsula with no internet service for several days. Is the new valve kit a bolt-on deal or is any welding needed for the linkage anchor? I have ordered the kit from finditparts.com as you suggested. Parts should be here in a couple of days. Thanks again!!

Jerry

No it didn't take it all away, but its better. It does ride better and doesn't bottom out when hitting big bumps though. I think the new valves are more responsible and help in turns also.

You are welcome. No welding just have to make sure valves are positioned correctly and assemble and adjust the linkage. There are instructions in the box. I had a local frame shop install mine for me.

dhetrick2,
Took my rig to the shop Friday. The 27000 kits fit the back axle, but not the front axle. The new ones only have 3 ports for air lines and the old valve has 4 ports. Did you run into this problem?
Jerry

I'm not sure Jerry, the shop didn't say anything about it, do you have a single valve in the front? I believe on my front valve there are two air lines coming off one port. On the rear valves they only used two ports and plugged the third.

Yes Dave, mine has one valve for the two front air springs. We are on an extended trip and presently in a very small town with only two small shops.
The shop manager has spoke with a Haldex application engineer and was told the 27000 valve is not the correct valve but also says they have no direct replacement for the old valve. Right now, I cannot drive the motorhome to go any where else.
Ignore this request if it would be a problem for you, but if not, could you possibly take a photo(s) of your installation and email to me? Maybe it would help this guy if he could see it. My email is jlhayes9360 (at) yahoo.com. I would be eternally grateful!
Thanks.

The KN27000 is a kit with the Haldex 90555105 valve and linkage. I had contacted CC to verify that the 90555105 was the correct replacement valve. My coach had Hadley valves on it and only had three ports just like the Haldex not sure why it won't work. I have a picture on my phone and will transfer to my computer tomorrow and e-mail to you.

The Intrigue, and Allure only used two ports on RHV on all three positions that used the 90555105.

On the front they split the air line, since it feeds both air bags. This was done with a “T” connector.

Not sure on the Inspire, but personally I would always buy my parts through Kevin Waite. That way you have his and Brian’s (chassis) help when it comes to install.
