Hot Exhaust Cummins 425

Got this warning for first time yesterday. Had to turn on “regen” and leave on to make it go away.

Don’t know anything about this or regen. Is this normal?

Forget it. I guess it just comes in during regen process as an “advisory”.

I leave the regen switch on and it will do its thing when needed. If you leave the switch off when in need of a regen can give you an engine code.
You’re right, the light is a warning and let you know it’s in a regen cycle.
Like you ever touch the exhaust anyway.
