HWH air suspension - low pressure switch

Fellow CC owners: I need a parts number that HWH will accept. The number on the low air pressure switch, from Nason, is SP-2C-20F/ADJ

I have a vintage '97 Intrigue. I kept getting a low pressure warning (red corner light on the HWH panel) and determined one of the two low pressure switches on the 6 pack is defective. Calling HWH and AZ Pete revealed they cannot find or supply a switch unless the switch has their product number. The HWH system on our coach is original but there are no numbers on the 6 pack body, the air switch or on wiring harness leading to the switch.
Have any of you replaced this switch or have an HWH number for it? It might start with AP--------

Thanks for responding!

I don’t know any part numbers but if you can find out the pressure on and off of the switch you should be able to take the switch to a Napa auto parts and get a correct replacement.

Hi Roy1

I appreciate your input, however I would prefer to keep the Nason brand switch in there. After 21 years, one failed. It is almost milspec in construction and I know that at my two local NAPA stores, if I brought in the old switch, the counter guy's jaw would hit the counter and his eyes would glaze over. The 3 teenaged guys would huddle with the one guy in the store who is maybe mid-twenties, then look at me and ask what color my truck is.

I'm hoping to get the same or equivalent water-proof switch for sure.

Perhaps your local NAPA is a different and better experience?

Thanks again,

No, my NAPA dealer is the same. Use to be they were very good, but they have lost there experience and the new employees don't care.

AZ Pete,

Thank you for only definitive response!

To other owners with HWH 6 pack manifolds and low pressure switches, I got through to a real person at Nason who provided me with their updated parts number and referred me to a local suppler, ITT in Portland, OR.
The newer Nason part number is SM-2C-20F.

Interestingly HWH wanted well over $100 for the low air pressure switch and ITT sold me, a walk-in customer, two of them for $29.95 apiece.

Kudos to AZ Pete, who calmly and knowingly walked me through some of the known issues and operation of my HWH 500 system. He is the only person at HWH (outside tech rep for them) who was polite and extremely knowledgable of their products.
The HWH people I spoke to in Moscow IA, not so much.
