unless you are extremely low on fluid, that wont be an issue.
i would look at the switch first. on the back of the the switch, there are six tabs, three in each row. one side controls the solenoids, the other side controls the pump.the center tabs on both rows are positive.
using a 12 volt tester, check that first. with the park brake set, and the key in either ign or acc. then push extend. two of the ta bs in one row, one on each side should show 12 volts+.then push the other. side, you should et the same results.
if you dont get an immediate response from the switch tabs, replace the switch.
i have found that 90 percent of intermittent problems are connections.
check your control box, or 12 volt telays for immediate response. if you cont get 12+ immediately, check the connection first, then replace the relay.
