Hydraulic slide troubles

Has anyone had their hydraulic slides line blow beneath their MH dropping hydraulic fluid onto the ground?

We last night could not put our slides out. When I looked outside their was a coupe of Quartz of fluid on the fluid on the ground. After calling a mechanic we learned of a hydraulic splice that was thrown together causing our grief. No resolution yet. It we are working in it with 3 and 1/3 slides out.

What a mess

My buddy has a 2001 Intrigue dual slides on the street and lost the valve on the galley slide. Dumped the oil on the ground and it took HWH about two weeks to get the new valve and have it installed. About a $2500 repair at La Mesa, Tucson, AZ. Yours should be quicker and a lot less in cost. Good luck.

All slides are now up and operating. We ended up having a new hose installed from the hydraulic pump back to the PS rear slide ram. It took just over four hours to do. Premier RV took care of the entire bill for both parts and labour. I found a mechanic in Las Vegas through park folks and parts came from Premier.

Happy to know all is working as it should.

I'll share this experienced had reminded me how important it is to have a strong network of people who know these coaches. Without them, repairs would never get done properly. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Was the splice that blew a previous repair or a CC install?

I believe the splice was done by the previous owner. The guys at Premier were unaware of it or they tell me they would have changed the line before they sold it. The line was very small (1/4" or smaller ID).
