Interesting HWH issue 2000 Allure HWH 500

Two years ago I had my HWH control panel rebuilt due to an issue because the coach wouldn't return to travel height. I had it rebuilt by HWH 2 years ago. I also had the display panel resurfaced with a new piece of Lexan. Everything has been working fine until the other day.

When I stop and turn they coach off I usually push the dump button to lower the coach closer to the ground for easy access. When I press the dump button, the panel doesn't light up, nothing happens. If I then press the air button or the raise button, then the panel lights up and then I can push the dump button and dump the air normally.

Something is off with my dump button. It should wake up the display panel when I press it, but it doesn't.

I have a call into HWH, they would like me to remove the display panel and the control panel and send it in. I thought I would check to see if anyone has had this issue before removing and sending everything in to HWH.

Thanks!

You can get the service manual off the HWH website, get that and go through the troubleshooting routine, that'll isolate the problem. If it's just the control pad, those aren't expensive (in the HWH scheme of things), I might hot-swap and send the old one in to get rebuilt at their leisure. Which may take a while, but then you'll have a spare, or something to sell on ebay to recoup.
