Is your water Autofill Valve working?
i noticed a water autofill valve in the schematics that while using city water the fresh water tank should be filled automatically. but on my rig, it never happened; i have to fill the tank manually on a separate inlet.
is your water autofill valve working?

I don't think that our lowly Intrigues have that option. What we have is the simple manual valve that you turn to fill the tank and then turn it the other way to use shore water. How else would you get water to the tank?

My water fill still works. It's a Guyen valve that is located in the water pump compartment. I have four of them, one to fill the tank, and three to drain the system. I've had to replace two out of the three drain valves-- I just put manual valves in their place--last I checked they were about $370 each. If you take them apart and clean them, they will last a while.

That is what our 04 Allure has. And yes, you can fill the tank via the one on the right. But, you also probably have the valve down below, turning it 90 degrees to the left (front of coach) should allow the water to fill your tank. With mine, I usually make sure the water pump is off, to keep it from running while filling the tank.
I've never just let the water flow until I see it coming out somewhere. We monitor the water level sensor, and when it first goes to solid green as full, I usually count slowly to between 30 to 40, depending upon my opinion on water pressure. Then turn the handle back straight up, to continue normal flow to the coach water system with shore water.
I would be interested to know, if the water will shoot out the air gap hole to the right of fill area in your picture. As their are times, when I'd like to have every gallon available !
Best to all,
Smitty

I have a city line and a tank line. The auto valve comes off the city line. Mine is consoled by silverleaf. If you don't have silverleaf then you would need some switch or control to activate the valve.

Looks like you have a manual valve just to the left of the black tank valve.
If you have this, you don't have a auto fill.

Another easy way to tell if you have auto-fill; do you have a switch inside the coach that says "water fill"? We flip the switch, and the tank fills as long as you are hooked up to city water. Once the tank is full, the valve shuts off.

I have repaired the PCB that the automatic water fill switch, referred to by Peralko, activates. The switch is located on the overhead dash panel near the clock.
In my case the auto shutoff feature did not work.
There is no schematic in my manual for this feature.

Ok,, Though I do not have one of those I was once parked next to a Prevost (Oh was that a sweet Rig) owned by a musician I kind of like. (professinally that is He's a good musician).
Well his rig had auto-fill.. But it's only half auto
You got to push a button to start it ,, WHY,, well just because the tank is less than full does not mean you want to fill it today.. So they make you start the fill by pushing a button. The :"Auto" part is what it does when it's full.. Am considering such a mod to my rig.

thank you all for the info... as don and smitty noted, mine does have a manual valve next to black tank valve. when i turned it counter clock wise, i heard the running water sound, sweet, then went inside to check the level indicator. within a minute, the 1/2 light was up... this makes life much easier!!
thank you again, happy trails!!
