I've never seen this before.

Today I was out polishing the Magna. Got to looking through the holes in the drive axle wheels and noticed that the inner wheels are aluminum also. I've never seen this before on any of the rigs we've ever owned. Usually they use steel inner wheels to cut costs.

I remember reading in a brochure the 2009 Magna/Affinity came with aluminum inner duals. Don't remember if it was standard or an option.

our 2000 intrigue came with all aluminum rims. i noticed this when we bought 4 new tires last year. the install was involving rotation as well; the tech simply moved the front tires to rear after rebalanced.

I'm not sure why it was done on ours since the front and tag wheels are 10.5" wide and the drive are 9.5" wide. The don't interchange at all due to the offset difference.

The tag and the steer are made to be interchangeable, so if you lose a front tire, you can move a tag tire to the front. 365s are scarce, so you could put a smaller tire on the tag, and the 365 on the front until you can get the right tire.
