Smitty, you nailed if as usual!
I have the C15 with a burner, no issues until this past trip. Had to replace the temperature probes and when I got home had the burner system cleaned, all good now.
Issues I've had or to check:

Axle seals and front wheel seals
I never lost a engine belt but put a new one on and replaced all the idler bearings, no issue just to be safe. Prior to me coach was by the ocean quit a bit.
Tires and year
Batteries and year
Engine hoses, I replace several, again as a precaution
All fluids and filters changed
TV's and Satellite, updated

I had quite a bit of front end play. Upgraded drag links and bearings to a system by Kaiser, worked great.

Service Aqua Hot, never had an issue otherwise.
Generator service and filters.
Upgrade headlights to LED, stock lights are so bad.
Others touched on foggy windows, all mine eventually did fail. The Affinity windows are a bit more to repair due to the flush glass.
I did a ton of interior upgrades, to suit us. Mood lights, upholstery and LED lighting.
Lucky, I can do most all this work myself, a labor of love, at least I keep telling myself that.

Overall a wonderful 2008 45' Affinity. Love the C15, will out-pull a Cummings 600.

Good to hear yours works well overall, Affinity45. Is the C15 on your 08 coach, an aft 07-epa engine (meaning do you have DEF and/or DPF on it)?

We just took delivery of this 2005 Magna....in very good condition and tons and tons of upgrades from new (wet pto, Tyron bands and TPS, aqua hot and genset service, full LEDs incl headlights, 4k TVs, Falcon Wifi and a few other things I'm missing) C13 Alli 4K, no emissions and big tanks..

We are having service done to baseline the coach mechanically new batteries, fluids, filters etc and new tires....

We got very lucky and it had ALL the OEM paperwork in the file cabinet .For sure its 15 years old and needs a little TLC..but seriously comfortable and very quiet inside.Click image for larger version

I have a burner system, pre DEF. Burns clean, I’m ok with it. The following year was DEF.

Regarding PTO, I think the wet/dry PTO is a Cummins thing. Cats have an engine mounted hydraulic pump. At least my C10 does. Not sure on C13-15.

Cummins or Cat

HUH; Cummins caters to RVs better than CAT...

I've been to both shops and would pick a cat shop first every time
Cummins always had a longer time to get work done, prices always seemed on the high side (although they would talk to you and sometimes lower the price, only to add on shop fees etc. and be right about where the first quoted price was),
My experience with the cat shops has been nothing but favorable. Two different times two different shops, I was taken in immediately. Both times I paid less than the quoted price, (over $600 less both times) it was on the labor side not parts. Both times was offered to plug in, the Cummins shop said not available.
In all fairness the cat shops were smaller shops and I am sure that was part of the experience, but all shops were busy at the time.
And no I did not get my cat engine worked on at the Cummins shop, Allison transmission, A/C.

Update....2K miles under our belt with the new to us 05 Magna...mechanically we are running like a champ (CAT C13, Alli 4K, Onan 12.5Kw genset)

I am loving it more everyday despite all the little things I find that need TLC..easily as timeless as the newest OEM coaches..insanely comfortable/quiet...built miles better than any new OEM at 3-4 times the price...

Very very glad we didnt buy new....

Sorry you are having issues, don't get discouraged. Have you tried running the generator to see if the inverter will keep the batteries charged?

If so and it's not charging the chassis battery, check the fuses in the feed lines coming off the echo charger. They are very sensitive to outside chargers. If someone put a battery charger on it, it likely blew a fuse.

And the Capt. Obvious, you likely have an alternator issue if it's not charging going down the road under power.

Again, good luck and it can be fixed, it does suck being broke down on the road.

Update....we are now broke and steanded...

Our thoughts however are still the same..even moreso..knowing that maintained properly these are top notch coaches that rival even the most well built of today..
