Loud turn signals
Just bought a 2006 CC Inspire DaVinci and will pick it up on Friday. During the test drive, we noticed that the turn signal beep was incredibly loud and annoyingly pitched. Since I haven't picked it up yet, I haven't explored it, but was wondering if others have found out how to quiet it down or change it somehow.

If sound is whistle like then likely from sonalert device under dash
Some are adjustable via rotating the cover to block holes and others not.
Tape or plumbers putty covering the holes on the front will adjust it well.

Chief, first thank you for your service.
I had one of the beepers go out and was able to find a replacement at Radio Shack but I understanding they are closing. There are other electric supplies and if you can find the little guy under the dash they can be unsoldered and I'm sure they have different choices for how loud. I had some help but it was pretty straight forward. Mine are still a bit loud but I don't forget them!

Welcome to the CC family
Mine is a bit load also but I like it that way. One of the first things I did was to change out the dash lights so I could see them in the daylight, these are the ones I used

they are Polarity Sensitive takes 19. The only one I did not change was the ABS.
Then changed all the 10W halogen to LEDs
Does it have the wet PTO installed?

A small piece of tape over the holes makes a difference.

Finally got around to opening up behind the dash and rooting around for the blasted noise maker. With a bit of searching, I found the offensive beasts. A RadioShack signal was found attached to each of the turn signal wires. A bit of electrical tape over each and I no longer sound like a garbage truck backup warning beeper when I signal to turn.
Thanks
