Dr. wants an MRI and needle biopsy before saying for sure what and how bad it is.

Actually the tests are just to confirm what we've already been told. It'll be a miracle if they come back with good news but it could happen.
But, lets go on with other stuff now!!

OK, I appreciate the concern but this isn't the thread for it!

Hoping for the best for you and the DW.
That said, since you want to keep with the thread, I belong to Kevin's service and have used it a lot since I don't have a shop near me that can work on CC's. They were way ahead of their time in the tech area and are a complicated piece of equipment. Back on topic. It was in fact Butch Williams who had me remove the Silverleaf computer and send it in to Silverleaf. they removed the "Onan Node" which is an in-between controller to the gen. Once removed they reprogrammed the Silverleaf computer to take over where the Onan Node used to work. Apparently the node didn't play well with the Silverleaf and there was all kinds of communications problems between the two. Eventually Onan consented to remove their node and incorporate the controls. Older units get retrofitted and reprogrammed. I think it cost me $128.
Don
EDIT: I have a picture of it but don't know how to post it on here.

We're going to the NW area FMCA rally in Coos Bay OR. Silverleaf will have at least on tech there and I'm supposed to have them check it and reprogram the unit since it doesn't have the latest code. That's providing the DW's health holds out.

'Interesting' problem, I have similar issue. Still working on it, but it seems that gen won't start once voltage gets below a certain level (my assumption), such as in the am when dry camping.
Starts fine using the gen switch, or if I hold the batt boost in for 10 seconds before starting remotely.

The generator starter is connected to the house battery bank. I found that if the bank got low there was not enough power to start the gen. I replaced my batts.

Yes, but starts fine using start switch located on the gen; no batt boost required then...?

That is our problem. Starts fine from the switch on the gen set, but won't even click using the VMS setup, nor the bedroom switch.

I would watch the battery voltage and see if the problems go away when you activate the boost switch. I know it sometimes helps to shut off the house switch by the door and re-boot silverleaf.

Tried it all, no change. Going to the FMCA rally in North Bend next week and SilverLeaf will have at least on person there so I'll have them update the OS and do a little troubleshooting if they have time.
