Magnum Inverter
I have a 2006 CC Inspire. I installed a 2800 magnum inverter last year. When I hook it up to my house 110 the inverter turns on goes to bulk charging and then shuts off. Resets then goes through the same sequence. I’ve hook it up before with no problems. Charges fine on the generator. Any clues?
Thanks for the help.
Mike

Try a heavier cord.
If that don't help, read the instructions on how to turn down the " AC input amps ", thru the remote.
It can be turned down to 10 or 5 amps, when your using household outlet power.

Already turned down the shore power amps and the extension cord has worked several times on different power sources

Do you have a 50A or 30A outlet in your home?
On our rig, much older than yours, there is a Surge Guard that it will cut off power supply once voltage drops to equal or below 90v. The same setting is on my MS2812 that it'll quits transfering power when the same voltage happens. You may monitor your input power voltage in a mimute or so from the moment of turning on.

It would have been good for you to First Explain what you HAVE done. In this case we would have known you reduce the Shore Power Setting to 5 Amps. By the way, you are having issues with the Charger part, not the Inverter section.
Now, lets start over.
What exactly have you done. What AC items do you have connected to your AC outlets.

Sorry if I sounded rude before. At that point I was just flustered. I finally figured out the problem I think. The batteries were lower than normal when I tried to hook up. The amp rating although at 10amp was on the monitor initially went above that rating which shut off the system. I charged the batteries with the generator and retried again which is now working. I want to thank everyone for their help.

Glad you have it figured out (And hope you're right!!). Sometimes the 'Smart Charger's', are too smart ! Battery too low of course, not preferred...
Best, and have some fun, be safe,
Smitty
