Main Battery Discharge

When I tried to start my 2007 CC Tribute today I needed to use the battery assist. When I parked the coach around December 30 I turned the main switch off located in a rear bin on driver's side. Do I need to hook up a solar trickle charger? Does the engine battery discharge that fast? Is there something I need to do other than turn off the main switch? The battery was new in September 2018 and it is the biggest battery I've ever seen, looks like double the size of a car battery. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm still getting to know my DP. Last coach was a gas class A and never had a problem with engine battery going down. Thank you.

We have this problem on our 2006 Allure. We haven’t fully solved yet. It is intermittent in our case. My understanding of the charging circuit is the inverter/charger charges the house batteries (when you have power) and the when there’s enough charge in those batteries - at that point the Echo charger circuit kicks over to charge chassis batteries. We think there is something wrong with that last circuit because it happens when we are plugged in. Now if your unplugged the cold will draw them down or maybe there’s something on draining those batteries.

If you figure it out, I’d love to know what you found.
