Mirror Shine

I bought Meguire's 3 step Marine / RV product: deoxidizer, polish and wax. I bought a Ryobi 10" orbital buffer (60 bucks) and 6' scaffolding (110 bucks) from Home Depot. The results were surprising.

I do appreciate the offer! I thought I would share as I was surprised by the results. It takes time, a lot of it. The shoulders need to recover!

Bill - With much respect... certainly not the best that you could do...

Being a 'Fair' CC Owner, I offer to spend my fuel, to come to you - so you can 'hone' your expertise...

Pay no attention to those who want 'you' to travel to them... I recognize the effort, and you out into this... And one CC Owner to another - want to help you rise to the level of expertise within your grasp!!!

===

Cool shot Bill, and congrats on the effort, and outcome!

Did you put the product on the buffer wheel or on by hand first?

I put the product on the buffing pad, dabbed it on the area I was working, then started the buffer. Once I worked it in, I had buffed to shine. The deoxidizer you work in longer. The polish needs to be buffed off before it drys to haze. The wax can dry to haze. In all three, I let the buffer do the work and then I finished buffing to shine by hand.

There are plenty of videos out there that give good guidance. Getting hands on to get a feel for yourself is what I did starting on the rear bumper.
