Could be power for electric lock and step switch. On my 2006 inspire there are 4 wires that are for these items. Hope this helps.

Yup have a key fob but thought it was for alarm system

Well another thing to add to my to do list

May be enough slack to repair but will have to open door to pin and ohm out which wire is what on each end

Probably best to find another wire harness?

The fob is for the Trimark Alarm which does indeed lock and unlock the doors and Bay doors too.

I'm guessing if you are not hearing a chirp when you use this that the alarm siren has been disconnected as mine was...

Alarms are notorious for going off when the batteries have a low state of charge regardless of if they were armed or not.

Chris we accidentally armed the alarm when we first got the coach and was stored at a friends hi house they were not happy when they called us at 6AM and yup low battery set it off
We have never set alarm since
So I imagine when you hit lock it arms and unlock disarms
Any idea what the two side buttons are for?

Not in a hurry to repair but will down the road

Those are the wires to operate the lock with your fob
I repaired mine several times

Since the wires are all black you'll probably find that each individual wire is printed with a number from 1 to 4. Peeling back the outer sheathing will reveal all. My '09 Allure door has a 10-wire cable and that's the way it is marked. I can get to the coach wiring by extending the generator and peering up into the cavity directly behind the windshield on the passenger side. Removing the door panel reveals the other end. If you're lucky there may be enough extra wire for a quick repair. Otherwise you'll need a new length of cable that is designed and intended for frequent flexing, otherwise you may find that the repair won't last as long. I had to completely replace my cable and I generously left a lot of extra cable for future repairs.

Since we are on the topic of doors, why is the red light always on? How do I program the door with a key fob?

I'm guessing that your alarm is on but the siren is disconnected. I think that only Tri-Mark can program their key fobs.

@gnrvin im.not sure what the other buttons do. We use the remote to lock unlock doors when we take the pups for walks and stuff..

At the thread.

I have the TriMark alarm manual and I'll take a looksee through it tomorrow. I'm guessing owners should be able to program or buy new remotes..looks suspiciously like an UngoBox fob to me..I know it discusses the programming of the door code numbers if you have those too

Yes, only Trimark can get you new key fobs after you re-work the inside of your door $$$$
