Well I found the spherical ball located behind the gas pedal in a place almost impossible to get to. I also found the hose coming up from the pump which was to large to go over one of the two nipples on the ball. There was also another small diameter hose hanging out in there amongst the hundreds of wires that had a smaller white hollow wire( hose) stuck into it which seemed to go somewhere on the dash or in that vicinity. I removed the white hose, cut off a small section of the smaller diameter black hose inserted that into the bigger black hose and then put both of my black hoses on the nipples switching them until the pump finally shut off. I’m sure I have probably created another problem but the pump and the air seems to be working better. I can tell you having spent many hours chasing wires behind that dash there are a lot of wires that have been disconnected, capped, cut and seemingly Homeless. Thanks for all the info. I also fixed my air horns after spending 2 hours searching and following for wire # 57 behind the dash. The solenoid was in the bay under the coach and a quick cleaning of the contact made the horn work. The bad news is the Howard safetysteer system I had gotten to work last week now does not want to work. It’s probably like the steps and other things with a motorhome. They work when they want. Everyone stay safe and healthy and thanks again

Good job! Yeah, these beasts can be beasts in multiple ways. But don't be too concerned about all those wires that don't seem to have homes. Wiring harnesses are often built to apply to several different, but similar, models and a variety of different options. Therefore, by design, there will be wires that are not connected. The trick, of course, is differentiating between wires that have nothing to connect to and those that have been disconnected for some reason.

Good luck!
