Not sure which control panel you have but it is possible due to a power hiccup that it lost its settings. Check your control panel manual and go through the setup in the manual, if you recently replaced the batteries with different type batteries you must "tell" the inverter, via the control panel, the type batteries installed. At any rate, it would be worth the effort to just go into setup mode and insure that settings are correct. The manual details the process and it is simple and quick to do. Definitely better than having a service tech do that for you.

Has the refrigerator worker on the inverter since you replaced the batteries?

Does the remote read out show an error code?

There are several circuit breakers on the inverter, check to make sure they are not tripped.

Is it just the refrigerator or are all the inverter circuits dead. For our inverter circuits there is a set of circuit breakers between the inverter and loads (e.g., microwave and outlets.) This is in addition to the circuit breakers on the inverter. Our is a small 2 circuit breaker box. It is located separate form the main panel.

There is also a transfer relay in the inverter. When shore power is dropped the transfer relay shifts the load to the inverter. That relay could be stuck. You could try rapping on the inverter to see if that make the relay shift.

If both circuits are not operating it could be the transfer relay.

If only half is not operating it could be a tripped circuit breaker.
