Need some chassis info....

Hi to all you CC owners,

I'm looking to buy a 32', 2001 CC Allure and would appreciate some specific chassis/body info on this model from anyone who can share same.

What is the wheelbase for this Dynomax chassis?

What is the overall body length? I'd be very surprised if it's actually 32'!

Coach comes with an ISC Cummins 330HP engine. Is the exhaust brake an engine retarder or jake-brake type?

What model Allison transmission/# of speeds does it have?

How many airbags comprise the suspension? Do these, or are there additional air suspension components that act as site levelers?

Did all [most?] coaches of that era come equipped with a body mask to protect the front of the coach's finish?

The coach is equipped with a internal hydraulic slide out mechanism. Is this unit serviceable without removing the slide room?

I'd appreciate any and all info you may have & a BIG thank you in advance!

The wheel base for the 32' is 192". For the 36' it is 240" . For the 40' it is 278"

Can't answer this one but I can say that for my 40 footer, the overall length is 39' 11". I would say that the 32' is pretty close to 32'.

The Cummins ISC came with an exhaust brake. The ISL of that year did have the engine brake (Jake).

What model Allison transmission/# of speeds does it have?
It has the Allison 3000 trans and it is 6 speed.

How many airbags comprise the suspension? Do these, or are there additional air suspension components that act as site levelers?
The chassis has 4 air bags. They act as the leveling system and the system is fully automatic.

Did all [most?] coaches of that era come equipped with a body mask to protect the front of the coach's finish?
You could have ordered coach armor or you could have had the 3M stuff installed

The coach is equipped with a internal hydraulic slide out mechanism. Is this unit serviceable without removing the slide room?
Yes it is. There is no need to remove the slide.

What I was told, and so far my experience has born this out. 40,and 45's are one inch short of being actual stated length. All others are 11"s longer then stated length. That is the way mine is.
