Just a quick hello...... we purchase a inspire siena last week, (really, really nice coach). We had a deal on a Itasca median pending inspection but it was easy to leave it where it was. #rustbucket........
Back to our CC story, I had 12 hr trip to get home (ended up 30hr's
long story) then planned to load up my three girls and DW to head south for a 1st family trip. Everyone was excited to say the least,, it was smooth sailing on the trip home until about 20 miles out when it got hot and I pulled over. UGGGG. so close.
After inspection it was apparent I had a leak so I filled it and limped home ... a few calls later decide to let the Cat dealer with a warm shop and lift to diagnosis. really hoping it was a hose. lolol. a few googles later I kinda knew where I was standing.
Needless today dw is not happy , but I mentioned we could of been in the middle of nowhere with three girls under 7 and still in this spot, still not a happy Rv'er.
So after reading and making a call, Radiator supply house had it in stock and was willing to get it on a plane to the closest airport, Derrick was very helpful and accommodating and the owner discounted it abit. (wow F-in expensive ).
Ill be at the airport tomorrow nite at 11pm to receive it and run it to the cat shop so its in there hands thurs am.
I read up some more and found a post that Kevin Waite was corresponding in so I decide to call him for info, should of called him 1st but im new.
Kevin was great he called RSH and tried to get a rate adjustment , then called me back and discussed this mess suggesting a cac as well. which I am all for even thou its big $ but I want to be done with this faulty design issue and hopefully the cac will get my Tq/hp up.
fwiw it ran really nice coming home so im pleased w the c9 and 400hp.
I can't even express how grateful I am to Kevin and derrick at RSH as well as the cat dealer . this is a huge expense but im confident it will be a good upgrade and in the end allow cooling , boost and carefree travel.
I highly suggest calling Kevin for any CC needs and RHS kicks ass.
Thanks so much to both .....more to come. Robbie
