New to CC, '95 Magna lighted toggles do not light dash does, where is the fuse?
Howdy, we just bought this a couple weeks ago and are working our way down the list of stuff that doesn't work or we haven't figured out how to turn on.
Anyhow the lights for the spedo and other gauges work fine but all the toggles and such quit the other day while I was looking for the cause of the vacuum switches for the dash heater/ac not working, I accidentally touched two of the bridged conductors to the right of the ignition switch and out went the lights, prior to that they were on all the time unless I shut off the engine batteries off.
So first I couldn't turn them off and I couldn't find out why, now I cannot turn them on. At least now the batteries stay up longer.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Dash and panel lights turn on with the ignition and stay on. If alternator is working fine, then there should be no chassis battery degradation.
There is a switch on the left hand dash for Panel lights. Does that switch work to turn on your toggles?
If not, there may be a fuse in the forward basement driver side compartment where most all the automotive fuses are. The fuse LEDs light up when the ignition switch is turned on. If one is not lit it has failed.
Or, there may be a fuse below the left hand dash panel. I do not recall. (I had to rebuild that panel a short while ago so had it off.)
A bit of useless info. The ICC switch circuit board is below that panel also.

Thanks Dean,
The toggle you spoke of turns on the spedo and gauge lights only.
The basement under the drivers seat has 3 rows of led's and fuses, the top and bottom rows are lit when I open the compartment door, the middle row is all dark and appears to be fed by a starter solenoid looking thing should that come on and light the middle row with the ignition? I will go try it just for fun. Before I did this the toggles were on even with the key removed from the ignition switch, I just hadn't got around to curing that yet, I was too busy chasing problems with the air ride travel mode not working.
thanks

That starter solenoid looking thing comes on with the key and lights the middle row, all of the basement fuses are good though I see someone has removed a relay from the back wall and left the wires hanging there. A project for another day. I guess the left panel needs to come off to see what is under there.
thanks

My electrical schematics in the owners manual shows wire 34 runs from the fuse in the automotive fuse panel to the dash gauges.
There are also two transistors? in the schematic below that might be a problem.

My owners manual is not for this coach, a replacement copy and missing a lot, I did get a good chassis manual. Thanks for the tip, could I con you into emailing that page to me so I can have it full size? I did look under the left panel and found no fuses, just 5000 feet of wire and an air line. I will follow that #34 and see what I find. The missing relay was hooked to #76, does that drawing show what it is?
thanks

#76 16ga blue from fuse to air purge relay
What is your coach # ? Mine is 5280.
I can email .jpg files for the complete Gillig and CC Owner for the Aspire Front Entry manuals if you would like. But, I do not think I can do so using this forum.
If you send me an email address via forum email and I can send the files to you in three separate emails.
CC Manual = 76 MB
Gillig Manuals = 114 MB and 76 MB

Hello, I am new to the forum and will add a new member check-in, but I am having pretty much the exact same issue with my CC Magna, 1992, as you are. My dash lights stay on and my toggles just beside the drivers seat will not stay lit, but some will light when they are on. Did you ever resolve your issue?
I found that one of the diodes connected to wire 34 behind my headlight switch became loose, I reconnected and it did not resolve the issue. I am going to replace the diodes today to see if my issue is resolved.
Thanks, and this site has been great as I have been a long time lerker.

Will your transmission shifter lights come on when the ignition key is turned? If not check the ground connection at the starter solenoid in the front basement compartment.
When I was replacing the acrylic board that supports the left side toggles etc, I did learn that the toggle lights were connected in somewhat of a series.
If one soldered connection breaks, no lights anywhere on the left console except on the Shifter.

Thanks for the response. I was able to dive into it some last night and traced it back to one of the transistors for the panel lights in the lower compartment had failed, I replaced it and all the lights are functioning now. Except the panel light switch will not light up all the panel lights, but they light when the headlights or ignition is turned on now. So hopefully I have my issue mainly resolved.
Thanks!

My wife had a minor fender bender and the coach has been in a body shop for most of a month now so we have not been able to work on it, but it sounds as if you have it worked out anyhow. I imagine I will be back on ours in a week or so.
