Overfilled fresh water tank have a couple ??
OK so was adding water to the fresh water tank an got distracted with phone call
04 Intrigue
Heard the tank thunk...expansion
rushed out and shut water off
Water was pouring out of the over flow hole pretty good
Also water was pouring out from under the coach...over fill siphon? It did stop emptying from there after a bit
Ran sink faucets on pump until grey tank showed 3/4 full and emptied grey tank
Checked fresh water level indicator and it is still reading full is it possible with all the water that I shorted the level indicator out? And my dry out after next trip
Any suggestions?
Greg

It happens. No worry about the level sensor. It will show correct level after dries up.

Yep, your sensor will be fine. And, just be glad you weren't flushing/filling your black tank with the valve closed! Best not to take phone calls in those situations...

Thats what is so great about this site is the knowledge and experience...which I am gaining a little at a time
Sensors dried out since I am in Las Wages at this time and yes it is reading just what I suspected was in ther 1/4 tank..enough for the lou for tomorrows trim until I get to Mesa tomorrow afternoon
Thanks again,
greg

I over filled mine a couple years ago and took quite awhile of running taps to get the level back down to where the monitor didn't show full. I couldn't believe how big those water tanks could get when the water goes in faster then it can come out the overflow.

If water was coming out from another area, I would suspect something "let go". Are you able to visually check the tank? Seems odd.

Only what I can visually see and thats not much. There is still water in the tank I drained pumped 3/4 into grey tank so it should have dropped
I visually seen the water coming from a hose rear center of the tank which I am told was an overflow hose to prevent blow outs.
it was also coming out of the manual fill over flow hole...the small one the fill cap was on as I was filling from city water
Going to be leaving the rig in Phoenix as only here for a week but will be wintering here so will have more time to open things up to inspect.
