Panasonic rear cam problem

My 2002 Allure has this cool Panasonic color rear cam that slides out of the dash and turns on with a button. Great picture but when the generator is running there is some sort of electrical interference problem that makes the picture flicker so much it is almost useless.

Is there some sort of grounding or spurious signal protector that is disconnected or not working? Onan 75K generator.

Also, no problem when connected to shore power and generator is off. Flickering interference only happening when generator is on.

Service guy had to replace a temperature sensor in the generator. Is it possible he left some sort of grounding or spurious signal protector off when repairing?
